Could it be that horse has lost muscle for some reason and it's the scapula bone ridge ? which may also be inflamed? making it appear more prominent?

Hi have you ever tried the vetericyn eye wash? Worth a try on a symptomatic level at least if this is a recurring problem. We have had good results with it.
