reply to callmelucky i was planning on getting legs off cause he's hard to wash and because he looks and works better with less hair on :confused: :cool:

well my ponys new and his previous owner said they left his legs unclipped because they were doing hunting and then i was worried if he was prone to scratching his legs and preferred more on his legs as they seem to know a lot about him. was justing asking peoples opinion ;)

i was planning on giving my pony a full clip but i want to do hunting and xc on him and want his legs to have protection because they will be bare. can anyone recommend good boots that would suit him thanks :D

Im going hunting tomorrow on a pony i have on trial and his saddle slips to the side of his back when i ride him and mount him. does anybody know anything to keep it in place. I was thinking a breastplate but i have never used one and I'm not sure if it would work :confused:

Just wondering if anybody knows any good saddle brands. also does anybody know what to do to a saddle if it gets wet. should it be oiled? jw :)

Just wondering if anybody knows if bent leg safety stirrups or peacock safety stirrups are better. I have peacock stirrups on all my saddles but was wondering if bent legs are safer. :confused:

well i don't ride her for two hours every day and definitely don't make her do 2 hours altogether at once. i normally ride her for half an hour to an hour but she does 1 hour hacks along with that somedays which are mostly walk. i would never make her do too much. thanks to everybody who...

I've just got as new pony and she is really unfit :p and sweat loads round her neck while doing work. I ride her at least 4 times a week for a couple of hours and was just wondering what clip you would recommend for her :roll eyes: ps she's stable during the night.:D
