    Trimming horses feet cost

I pay £40 and I did wonder if it was a fair price for probably less than 10 mins. I haven't had any bother with my boys feet so happy now after reading posts. Thanks guys.

    Pink powder

I contacted Rowan and Barbery for advice and they didn't advise adding anything to the mash but I do soak it with sugar beet water. Pink Powder just a thought. / another option, desperation!!

    Pink powder

Hi there I'm thinking of buying Pink Powder to give my 29 year old thoroughbred a boost. He is on Rowan and Barbery mash, full daily dose and haylage. He also has access to grass. He is still a bit ribby. I can't realistically feed him any more than he gets so would Pink Powder help?

    Retirement blues

Hi there, you are maybe doing all this already. I would advise a very strict regular routine even just grooming same stuff each time. Calm and slow. Feed before and after just small amounts. Maybe try short times at first. Sometimes it can be simply your horse is bored and then has something to...

    Rowan and Barbery mash

My horse on this mash and has been getting full scoop twice a day. Advised to up to 3 scoops daily but in 2 feeds. Is this not overload for him, he seems to eat it all and doing ok. Still a bit ribby though.

    Rugs on or not?

I'm undecided about rugging up my horse. He's a good doer, keeps condition well and solidly built. But... He is 28 years old. He lives out in a 7 acre field and is fed twice a day. Its supposed to get quite cold in next few days which is why I'm not sure.

Horses feet not been trimmed for 6 months

Thank you. I have been able to look them over and they don't seem to have grown much and I can't see any real issues. Obviously the farrier will be able to see properly.

Anyone know how market value is calculated on a non ridden retired horse?

You are wrong and actually rude!! I did not imply or suggest anything but obviously you just want an argument so please don't reply again. I am disgusted at this nastiness on what is supposed to be a friendly forum
