I’ve yet to meet a TB with a survival instinct- rather if there was a breed designed to not survive without a good vet and hefty insurance cover it’s a TB 😂
I use scoots, but if you contact the hoof boutique they will advise you of the best style for your horses hoof shape. They send out fit kits etc. they are very helpful
I would never turn out without the boett on, can confirm midgies are most definitely out during the day! I also fight biteback products the best, although a layer of sudocreme is always a good option 😃
I would think that they can. I’m lucky that my boy lives in a huge field with a herd and the terrain is very varied. I can’t imagine that a square would be especially stimulating.
For me Freejump pro and flex ons plus wide leathers have made the world of difference. Spendy but allow me to be almost totally pain free (I also have a buggered ankle and arthritis in my toes so they have a lot to contend with 🙄)
