We have a lovely young TB stallion standing this year , his name is Winter Games.
he is 15.2 , Full TB weatherbys and NPS licensed.
he moves just beautifully.
I can’t seem to attach files as they are too big but there are pictures of him and others that stand with us on our Groomsbridge...
3 due here all within about 3 weeks of each other.
first is a Dilaro X High Tension X Majed
second a Dinken X Groomsbridge May I X Tout Ensemble
and lastly a Universal X Groomsbridge May I X Tout Ensemble.
No that’s right and it wouldn’t have shown on a racing record at that time.
the thing that bugs me about the relatively newly graded one is that it is on its racing record on racing post and should have been noticed when the grading panel checked out its performance record.
gelding and wind...
It was always well known he had a wind issue.
nowadays it’s easy to check as it has to be declared so if a horse has raced it will be on there.
sadly there is a stallion standing at the moment that has been graded and if you look at its racing record it’s clear it’s had wind surgery but no...
Yes we have which helps.
they all go back to my original 2 competition mares so started the whole thing with tough , proven sound mares who competed into there teens before breeding.
2 out of our own mares.
one by Dinken out of a 3rd generation homebred mares that evented successfully and whose 1st foal started Eventing last year.
pedigree will be Dinken x Groomsbridge May I x Tout Ensemble.
we also have an ET foal due out of our young event/showjump mare by Donthargos...
There is live cover and random covering which some people would pass as live cover.
we have 2 TB stallions that cover TB mares as well as sport horse mares and have very very few issues with mares being covered but they are prepped , scanned and teased and then just covered once at the correct...
Mares ovulate pretty much any time , in season , out of season and while pregnant.
trick is to not PG until at least 5 days after ovulation whether that’s an oestrus ovulation or a dioestrus Ovulation. That can be why PG can be unreliable particularly when given without knowing exactly what...
If her cervix is now tight and the follicle is still there it suggests an annvolutary follicle that isn’t likely to ovulate any time soon. Wouldn’t be much point in AIing her at this point In time. Whether it goes and she will come back into season later on is difficult to predict as some...
Has anyone at the stud actually teases her to see if she is actually in season.
large follicles mean absolutely nothing without a uterine odema pattern and a relaxed cervix.
you can see mares with massive odema patterns after PG on big follicles that aren’t actually showing or remotely ready...
