How much chicken and rice to feed?

Hey cinnamontoast, thanks for the advice, he had 2 eggs for breakfast and everything seems a lot firmer today so hopefully we're on the up again!

How much chicken and rice to feed?

Thanks Oldernotwiser, just been out for last wee and poo and everything was a lot firmer already so that's reassuring. So maybe 2 and a half breasts and a packet of rice split down should be about right then do we think?

How much chicken and rice to feed?

He normally gets his food split between breakfast and dinner but I'm going to do the chicken and rice thing split over 4-5 mini meals. Vet said if he's not right by Monday to call in for an appointment.

How much chicken and rice to feed?

Thanks splashgirl, he's a big multi breed heinz mix. The weight has crept on over the last year, too many snacks in between meals. Will be more careful from now on though.

How much chicken and rice to feed?

Hey everyone, hope you're all well! Back again for a bit of advice, the fur face had a wee infection last week and has just completed his course of antibiotics and poor thing is now a bit squitty. Called the vet for reassurance and they've said it's to be expected and just to feed him boiled...

    Thanks for the recommendation Bellasophia!

Yes it's a lot less stressful as I'd sometimes get pulled off balance and end up doing a weird dance to stay upright in a tangle of all the legs o_O My arm and hand would sometimes get sore because he'd lean on the harness and he's sodding heavy! Now he feels light as a feather, and he has no...

    Thanks for the recommendation Bellasophia!

Just a quick thank you to Bellasophia for recommending the double ended training lead, got it not long after my thread. If he has a bouncy moment and I get caught by surprise, I'm not getting pulled along anymore. It was a really good buy so thank you :)

Another harness one (sorry!) for a dog that pulls?

Just for interests sake he is a rehome from somewhere else. The progress we have made so far since the start of the year when I got him amounts to - No more peeing/pooing in the house. No more separation anxiety. No more hypervigilance and barking at everything that goes by. No more pulling...

Another harness one (sorry!) for a dog that pulls?

Hi Bellasophia thanks for checking in with us! Walks have been mostly good this week, pulling minimal but still happening a bit. Today the ratbag managed to catch what I can only imagine was the stupidest rabbit around (ran a bit and then just stopped and crouched down), which then had to be...

Another harness one (sorry!) for a dog that pulls?

Thanks for the link Bellasophia! Currently we are doing a lot of turning and walking the opposite direction, it is slowly slowly working, I just don't want him getting rubbed sore in the meantime. Hopefully a training lead will distribute the pressure a bit and help with that.

Another harness one (sorry!) for a dog that pulls?

He's an only and is walked singly yes. Thank you I'll go have a look at those.

Another harness one (sorry!) for a dog that pulls?

I've taken on a 2YO large mixed breed snuggle monster, he's boxer/rottie/staffie cross. The lady he was with before gave me a harness for him which has been fine, but while we are still working on walking nicely at heel he does pull a bit and I've noticed the hair on his shoulder is being...

    Help with wording please?

That's very true be positive! The dealer has warned against us having the horse delivered without his prior say so, saying that he would then "charge us livery on top of the balance owed plus 10% commission on the sale of the horse" at whatever future time he manages to arrange that... guesses a...

    Help with wording please?

Minesadouble, the letter written by solicitors cost money it's actually not my horse it's my sisters and she can't really afford to spend more than she has to - whole other discussion but hey ho! I'm just trying my best with what I've got to hand to get a satisfactory outcome for my family...
