He is very nice! I'd be interested to find out how much you'll be asking for him when you decide to sell him, not for me but for my niece. She lost her ex racer about 4 weeks ago and is still umming & ahhing about getting another but if she saw him she'd love him!!!!!
I notice you're at...
He's got quite good feet & in the time he's had the back shoes off (probably 5 years) this is the 1st problem we've had - I think he just stood on it particularly hard or at a funny angle? My farrier mentioned he's wearing his back hooves quite a bit (we have a lot of hard ground, ie roads &...
Hi all
(Also posted in veterinary but hoping for more replies in here!)

Hi all
Saturday morning we're all tacked up for our hack, we go out of the gate & bam my boy is hopping lame. He stood on a stone and I thought he'd twisted something as he yanked his leg away from it - couldn't see a puncture wound.
Cold hosed it and kept him in the stable until Sunday...
They're Ariat Bromonts - comfiest things I've ever had on my feet (once they dropped - until that point I used to wear the zip only half done up and had to lengthen my stirrups otherwise they cut my circulation off!) :D
Yep, super cute!!!!! I am biased though!
Yes I will be careful of that - I didn't notice it rubbing her eye though unless she was starting trying to pull a little bit in these pictures...?
Thanks! We're by no means 'there' yet but I at least have hope that Strawberry can do the job she was...
Hi All
Firstly, thank you to everyone who was kind enough to give me advice when I posted last week about my daughter & the little Shetland we have for her to ride...
...in typical fashion the little pony has tried to prove me a complete liar this weekend when she let my daughter catch her &...
Pony would - daughter might not! :) She likes to do everything herself!!!! We could give it a whirl though and the dually has arrived this morning which might make it easier for my daughter :)
Yep, am well aware of that - as I say we've had lots of various horses and ponies over the years. The problem is that in the winter I have no daylight to do anything with her - we've no school and I work full time so any interaction is in the way of having her feet picked out & being led...
This is exactly what I need to do & what I will being working towards from this weekend through the spring/summer. We have had lots of horses & ponies over the years so I'm confident it's something I can bottom but I think the fact that she's quite a nervous character around adults in general...
Thanks for the reply - pulling a tyre or something might actually be all we need to help focus her and/or take the edge off her a bit and as you say it will be a good selling point if she doesn't work out for us.
She's generally a sweet pony but I think with her previous owner she was allowed to...
