No the BASC dogs are not allowed to be docked as these are classed as show classes rather than demonstrating working ability

At one show I had a v pushy food salesperson. They gave Meera a sample of “lightly cooked” food and said oh look she loves it, to which my reply was she loves bird sh*t too 🤣🤣🤣

Well that a shame, Suri has come into season so will have to stay at home. I’ll still go for a day of shopping and spectating. Her sister owned by my friend has also come into season so will stay at home too.

I have a large notice on my fridge that lists my next of kin (I live alone) and a contact to deal with the dogs.

I put large cat bells on mine at lower levels. Dogs don’t go near it if they do I can hear them and interest. For some reason it appears to work

I was talking to an Aussie owner yesterday and it turns out this was a French dog that was listed as born tailed on their database so had definitely been docked. The handler at crufts is UK based and was apparently unaware of the dog being born tailed

Suri has been quite busy recently with plenty of nice placings. City of Birmingham on Sunday then she has a bit of a rest until midland counties. She is really beginning to mature nicely
