Hello, I have a just turned 5 fell pony who seems to be terrified of fly spray! She is genuinely scared of it, and gets into a panic and all worked up about it. I have tried everything; while i'm brushing her making the 'ksst' sound (but the sound isnt really the problem-its the actual feeling)...

The farmland next to our fields are growing rapeseed oil (or oilseed rape) which has seemed to set of our welsh D mare, she has bad couching fits, with no real pattern apart from when doing flatwork and jumping, is usually fine when hacking next to it! So confusing! Sorry for no advice, we soak...

Ahh thanks! Yes its affiliated to the FPS, pony came straight off the moors to us as a 3 and 1/2 year old, so is probably more hill type, its her first fell pony show, so wanted to keep to just walk and trot :) Thanks again! x

Hello, I am doing the MESG Spring show on sunday, and have entered traditional ridden mares (on the understanding its just walk and trot?) Does anyone have any idea of the format of these classes, I know the format of normal ones, but was just wondering if you do a fast trot etc, Thankss :)...
