Only my opinion but def. fresh hay and water...... bed can be tided up a little later..... it won't hurt her she's stood in it all night!

I would say it's probably a combination of the above 'weather and season'. My mare has not reacted well to her first season (or 2) this year, although remaining well mannered on the ground, as this is something I always insist on, she has become virtually unrideable whilst she is in season...
