If you are on Facebook and go onto the laminitis group then a lady had hers tested before and after soaking for 30 minutes and the sugars were drastically reduced

    Gelding attacking a new horse

I know! It's infuriating as mine is now lame again , had an existing injury and was in rehab so not helpful! Apparently one of the other liveries saw the other gelding trying to mount mine and some of the others. I'm looking at another yard tomorrow!!

    Gelding attacking a new horse

So as the title suggests my gelding is attacking 2 new horses at the yard, he has been in the herd for a year and a half and have had no issues what so ever, all get on great, eat out of the same hay bin, all respect each other at coming in time, there was 4 of them and 3 since October last...

Horse keeps jogging on the long reins

He is allowed to do pole work so going large in the school is ok, I took him in hand today and he is fine like this so I took a lot of time bringing his head down calmly rather than him winding himself up with his head in the air amd this worked well! Think I will stick to this for a week or so...

    Possible ulcers?

Ulcers are very common and usually secondary to pain somewhere else or stress, lack of constant forage can also cause them! Symptoms can be really subtle or really obvious! Mine was girthy and massively over reactive to things , he had had kissing spines, hock arthritis, sacroiliac problems...
