We have a 13.3 newforest cross with a Wintec saddle and I've never heard that before that they are not suitable. We had our saddle fitted and he didn't mention any problems. Our saddle has interchangeable gullet and he has an extra wide with no problems.

Ah she sounds really cute and absolutely smitten with you! I've just got my boy (got him Saturday) and he belongs to my daughter. I don't ride but I'm sure I'll be doing 99% of the looking after bits for him. Looking forward to having all this love with him in the months to come! :)
