No longer have a number for her but she broke in two horses for me and did a cracking job. See her out eventing and I think she does a bit with the border riding club. Good luck! :-)
Thanks everyone for your input. To answer a few questions - I live at the yard so the dog would be outside when I was, and I don't want another GSD because of the temperament issues with the one that was recently pts. I have decided to get a Leonberger bitch puppy, and should hopefully pick her...
I recently lost my German Shepherd and I'm looking to replace her. I don't want another shepherd but want a large dog. My yard is in a rural and quite isolated location and I'm happier having a large dog on the yard with me as I'm by myself most of the day. I have terriers but don't have them...
My faithful yard washing machine (whirlpool super capacity) has finally give up the ghost. Anyone got any recommendations and/or advice where to get a replacement? Doesn't have to be big enough to do super heavyweight rugs, just light and medium weight and thermatexes. Thanks! :)
Jayelle the comments about Pastures New sounds like somebody with a personal grudge against the new tenant. Hopefully Brpadfordqueen will make her own mind up. I don't think that a yard that has only been open two months can have such a bad reputation!
Kearsley was good when Matt ran it, but is now being run by someone unqualified and inexperienced which is not a good combination! I believe there is a yard at Great Whittington with an indoor, or Pastures New is worth a look - lovely arena and lovely people.
Does anyone here compete in BD with Andalucian/spanish horses? Having tried for ages to find a small (under 16h) dressage horse, it has been suggested that I look at spanish horses, but they are quite thin on the ground up north. I also have no idea what dressage judges think of them. Any...
Have mare with spavins and I am using Feedmark's Zerobute and Extraflex with Rosehips - so far so good. She is sound in all three paces and I'm looking to maybe compete her in BD by the end of January. Good luck!
Another vote for Wylam - they have one of my horses on permanent loan which I think is a good vote of confidence. High standard of teaching and the horses are well looked after.
