Yes, the vet was amazing, so calm and gentle with him. I think he felt this because he was so good for her. She even called on Sunday morning to see how he was.

Thats what I'm hoping! Just hope it heals rather than losing that part of the nose

yes he was in his stable, I've been round it so many times and there's def nothing he could have done it on. It was fairly fresh when he was found but the vet said it was very contaminated with hay/straw and dirt it may not heal but I have everything crossed for him.

I felt sick when I saw him, and just cried. He is getting better and less swelling everyday and it being very pampered by my friends at the stables, they are really looking after him while I am on shift and have been wonderful

My poor boy was found like this first thing.... I am so upset about it, and upset for him. Over 30 stitches, he was so good for the vet, I am so proud of him, just hope he heals soon. No idea how he did it but we have a new livery and the horse has been injuring the horses out in the field...

really? small world hey! I was bought up there and lived there for about 25 years I guess. I'm up there all the time lol. I have a sharer for my horse because I work 12 hour shifts so have to consider her traveling when I'm looking for somewhere.

I live in Forestdale but my OH lives in New Addington. I'm not in a huge rush to move so I think I might take a drive around Chelsham way and see what I can find. Thank you for your help
