    Brushes

What is the best 'body' brush on the market? I used to have a few horse hair ones that were perfect for getting coats all clean and into tip top shape, but can't find any really good ones here. What do you use to get that perfect coat?

Full livery - how much would you pay?

What locations are you all in?? Do you think this has an effect?

Full livery - how much would you pay?

Wow full livery where I am now is £112.50 and it is pretty much option 1. But couldn't be happier with the care my horse is getting.

    Yellow Wee

Could be the carrots if you've recently added them and noticed the change. Otherwise any chance he could be slightly dehydrated?

Full livery - how much would you pay?

Ok lets say the facilities are good and it is a professional rider? Wow £10 per schooling is very low!!

    Vet to blame???

I completely agree with teddyt. That length of time to actually do something helpful was way too long. Personally I would refuse to pay for the first few visits - one vet tells you to turn the horse out again after misdiagnosis and the others were all barking up the wrong tree too! I agree...

Full livery - how much would you pay?

Two options: Option 1: Full livery, 4 bales of bedding per month, hay, feed, turnout, use of facilities. Supplements, shoeing, vet and training excluded. Option 2: As above, with horse in full training. 4 dressage training sessions per week (some can be lessons). The other 2 sessions mixed...

    Professional Yard

haha oh i agree!! I would try to encourage a friendly yet professional yard. TBH I'd mainly want people that are really keen on training and dressage as a whole. I'd like it to have the feeling of more a training yard than just liveries. Do you think that would be too restrictive?

    Professional Yard

SO1 great thanks for that snippet of info. You're very helpful! FrodoBeutlin, you're right, it's never been a problem - the lack of UK based qualifications. Personally I've never had a problem with it and always been very busy based on my reputation and previous training. I have noticed that...

Brilliant, thanks very much SO1. Really appreciate it. Do you know of any good areas? I need to have a look arround, but am not sure of all the places that would be good close to London. Thanks!

    Professional Yard

Hi guys, I've been teaching over here for several years now, so have regular clients as well as regular clinics etc. I've spent a fair amount of time training with and training the horses of the likes of the Theodorescu's and the Swarovski's in Europe. I know that it's going to be hard work...

    Professional Yard

Hi everyone. First post here today.... I'm thinking of setting up a professional dressage yard within commuting distance of London. I'm not from this country, and was thinking around the Hemel Hempstead area. If anyone has any other areas they would suggest to look at, say within half an hour...
