Advice please on leg injury and cartrophen

@AFB That's my other worry, horse is a rescue so don't really want her being injected a lot if she doesn't need it. I'm wondering if she really needs the Cartrophen for a bruised tendon, no strain, tear or pull. She is insured but would rather spend the money on something more targeted to tendons.

Advice please on leg injury and cartrophen

Hi all, I'm more of a lurker than a regular poster but wondering if anyone can give me some advice. My horse suffered an injury from a freak accident in the field just over 4 weeks ago. She was seen at Leahurst for an eye injury which has healed, the cuts on her leg were considered superficial...

    Suddenly spooky horse

She has never reacted like this to the grass before. Could it be the change of yard and richer grass? She has gone from bombproof in traffic to spooky and shying

    Shires Marlborough Hunt Coat

Only 1 stand at HOYS with a few second hand hunt coats all mens so was quite disappointed. Think I'm going to need a 32 as I'm a size 6 or small 8 so thinking even with a few layers the 34 will be too big on the shoulders and waist for me. Now need to try and find one in a 32!

Aztec Diamond, Animo, Struck Apparel, and all silicone breeches

Bought a pair of Aztec Diamond breeches a while ago, not impressed at all in fact I wasn't really impressed with the quality of any of their products. They seemed thin material and the sticky patches not sticky at all. Personally I think they are over priced for what they are. Can recommend the...

    Shires Marlborough Hunt Coat

How do you find the sizing comes up? There is a 32 and a 34 on ebay at the moment. I'd normally go for the 32 but will be needing lots of layers underneath so the bigger might be better, but if they come up slightly large the 32 would be ok, decisions! I'm off to HOYS this weekend so hopefully...

    Shires Marlborough Hunt Coat

Hi all, I'm looking for a hunt coat and the Shire Marlborough seems a good price, I don't have loads to spend. Has anyone got one, are they quite warm? Also what does the sizing come up like? Thanks :)

    Small car for towing

Thanks for the rely! We'd be towing a ifor 505 with 15hh horse so around 500kg good to hear it could do the job.

    Small car for towing

Thanks you've pretty much covered everything there, makes me more confident in whether the car could do the job we want, sounds like it could. Just need to weigh up whether we want to go down to 1 car so would mean only having the antara for day to day commuting 20 miles each way and as a tow...

    Small car for towing

Hi, How do you find the Antara for towing and as every day car? Currently have an older Nissan Terrano for towing and small car for everyday but thinking of swapping and just having the one car and the Antara is one of we're looking at. Reviews seem very mixed from what I've seen so far...

    Jumping advice please

Thanks for the replies, no reins and no stirrups sounds quite scary but will have to give it a go as I really need to break the habit.

    Jumping advice please

Hi, yes I do have an instructor but just wondering if anyone has other suggestions. I can't seem to stop doing it, it has become a really bad habit.

    Jumping advice please

My horse is really honest and genuine, he has never stopped with me but I have a really bad habit of leaning forwards 1/2 strides away from the jump, looking at the base and also fiddling with the reins/taking a half halt where I don't need to instead of keeping my hands still. I think it's a...
