My 4yr old New Forest pony has been diognosed with DJD after an injury to his fetlock before i had him he also has bone fragments, my vet referred to Newmarket who said they would not operate because it is incurable, he needs to retire and have steroid injections i have put him on newmarket...
I brought an unhandled just 4 New Forest Pony in April, he settled well and after a couple of weeks let me groom him and put a head collar on, i sat on him bareback and walked round no issues, i then moved him to my other field and he revertered back to being wild again wouldn't let me near...

I am contemplating going hunting hopefully with the readyfield hunt my mare is a 17.1hh Boulonnais French Draft and i am wondering if any one hunts a large draft horse.::confused:
