    Lumps, Bumps and Vets!!

Hi All, Just had the vet out to have a look at my ponys eye, she has a small lump on her lower eyelid and the vet has confirmed my suspicion of a melenoma!! She has said that i will need to take my horse to the hospital and have it removed surgically. Wich i definatly would rather do than leave...

    Spurs or no spurs?

Definatly all for spurs .... if used correctly!! Inexperienced riders who are yet to have lower leg control should stay away but experienced riders with the control and knowledge of why and how spurs are used should continue to use them. Horses skin is much thicker than ours so blunt spares and...

Like i KEEP saying i was not bothered about the placings i went to get my horse out for atmosphere purposes! ... i was just generally curious on how the classes were judged. i dont know much about showing but for my own peace of mind just wanted to know what things people get points deducted...

Is it because i didnt wear tweed?? :s

Totaly agree with the comment based on my horse being over qualified .... definatly didnt go to win or get placed, was actually quite nice to see the non sport horses winning and being judged on the same level was quite nice! ... was just intrigued on how these things were judged! :)

Bought to do a job... although when my mare is due to retire hopefully a long time due to her only being 7, ill keep her as a pet. i believe by this time she will have earned her keep and she wont owe me anything! Shes taught me so much already in the 4 years ive had her. She deserves to have a...

unaff event entry fee vs af

I did Moreton Morell and Aston-Le-Walls at the begining of the season last year, and the cost was around £20 cheaper to enter and the start fee was also alot cheaper. It also depends on what level you are looking to compete at but overall its alot cheaper and good for practice runs!
