    Trauma travelling from ireland sales

Reasonably brutal at times. A friend had a horse arrive looking pretty dreadful inc a hole in its dock where it had rubbed it so badly it was an open sore. Weather had been awful, transporter driver wasn't happy they had made them cross. You just have to take everything slowly and one step at...

Towing .. losing the will to live!

Some of the old Sorrentos have a capacity upto 2800Kg. If your on a B+E you would fine with an Ifor and two horses but you need to get the right model. You need to be able to tow 2200kg by the sounds of it and its always good to have some spare too so look for something that will tow 2400kg...

    Has nayone clipped yet?

Full clip on my RID last Thursday, just has a 100g rug on as still rather mild even in Yorkshire countryside. But he was like a mammoth and is still warm even clipped when worked hard.

    Limping dog - supplements etc

Definitely look at treatment options, with vet approval. I use a McTimoney lady for my terrier who does a lot of flyball and is generally nutty and very active. She treats him and does massage too, definitely keeps any niggles at bay. Someone like that could help. Try a back on track mesh coat...

    Please insure your dogs

Clodagh, I totally agree with you re: Dogs Trust, would never donate or give them money normally and still don't if they are collecting etc but I couldn't find 3rd party liability for a dog anywhere but with them that offers such cover. I am a hypocrite but it would be irresponsible of me not to...

    Please insure your dogs

] I have this, I don't insure my terrier but when checking small print on Home Insurance it doesn't cover you for much in relation to pets and in very limited circumstances. I have had a few people tell me they thought they were covered by home insurance, seems to be a common...

    Anyone fancy horse shopping

Thanks, cant deal with Judie Thurloe on advice from trusted people. The 18h is a lovely type but wont fit in my trailer! Gloucestershire is definitely too far. The problem I find on H&H is the adverts are quite old and don't get taken down by the sellers when sold.

    Anyone fancy horse shopping

Thanks Cassy. Yes too small. There are some gorgeous ones about 15.2/15.3 but they are just not big enough. I am 5'10 and although weight isn't an issue I don't feel in balance with something smaller. Hi lammy, yes have seen that one. Perfect on paper. Cant say any more though.

    Best riding schools, any location

Having had a really bad fall in august I have totally lost my confidence. I went to try a new horse to buy yesterday and just seized up, shaking. Felt dreadful for seller as horse was so lovely. I have been riding at a local riding school since fall and been fine but that is familiar territory...
