Hi
Stratford Hills is my local and I'll be competing on the first day and dressage writing on the second day for 80/90s. All the trade stands, secretary etc in a line with dressage warm up to the right of them and arenas beyond the warm up backing onto a wood, very quiet and since the Xc is...
Jo Foley good as Lynds suggested but not sure if she travels? The Clovers are very close to you, within walking distance by sound of it.
For ground work Wendy Smith at Boxted is very good and has an amazing yard set up for lots of ground work games etc as well as a new school.
Well done, sounds great. I started training with Roland Tong from last September with the intention of having one lesson a month and have enjoyed them so much (never enjoyed flat work lessons before!) have ended up doing loads of overtime in order to have 2 a month. He's even persuaded me to...
Me, I'm going for the jumping with baby Orangespot. I think I'm part of the arena party 8.30-10.30 then not jumping till pm. The whole point of trying to qualify for Hartpury is excuse to visit family in area but found a RC who do it as a proper team, share transport, meal together, help each...
Oh no, commiserations! I think I saw you at no 5, wandered over to watch some Xc, saw you stop then no one after you. Know how you feel, mine has all the talent (was 3rd in different section) but the slightest thing and he bottles it so his record has some top 5 placings splattered with some...
Another one going Saturday. Didn't do Isleham which is half the travelling as was going round Somerleyton with the bloodhounds instead but they cancelled last minute! Never been before, got an hour and a half between dressage and jumping, is that enough time to walk Xc in between?
Good luck...
I use a golfing product for my leather seated side saddle, names rubbed off but it's used to aid grip on a golf club and comes in a small tube like a lip stick but slightly bigger, hope that helps!
Well done! I was there as well but didn't recognise you. I know you've got regionals but the secretary told me 12 would likely go through from the 100 because of high entries so at least you can say you qualified in both, not bad! I was of course 13th in the 100 having rolled a pole but did...
Sleeping sat after night shifts plus blacksmith then joining star for first attempt at JAS at Merrist Wood!
Then stuck working weekends till proper eventing starts in March
Sorry Maz55 to hijack thread as can't help but had to mention to Poppycat that I too rent a couple acreas in Burnt Heath so we must be practically neighbours!
Can't help I'm afraid as have a 3.5 tonner which goes overweight with 2, don't show and now have Knabstruppers, sorry. But thought would say hi as used to have Appaloosas and do all the shows like the nationals, Winsor, Bath & West etc. I did try buddying up when I had a bigger box via the BApS...
