The deep chest causes the problem, they have to kind of screw under things. Can you teach her to jump on command instead? Teach to jump over your coat laid over a low obstacle? Or would you prefer if she didn’t know how to jump?

Feeling sorry for CH - I hope he is retired whilst he’s still sound. Those were both horrible falls.

Popped in to Equafleece today to get Fig measured for a coat - they were so good, measuring, trying a variety on, understanding that it has to be a bit big otherwise I’ll be buying a new one every week. Very helpful - hopefully this will last a little while!

Would a ban on use of the whip once over the last jump/hurdle be of benefit? Jockeys would have to ride heels and hands and might stay in balance a bit better too.
