Update; I bought a lovely Mark Todd 28" event girth. Looks nice and soft, but after 2 long rides he now has sores either side, by his elbows....Sighs.... Anyone need a 28" event girth? I have reverted to using a 20+ year old dressage girth, with no problems 😒😕??
I would highly recommend winnerscircleequestrian.com, based in Walsall. They are ex Barnsby saddle makers who have set up on their own, making made to measure saddles, exactly to your spec. I've just received an awesome jump saddle and the prices are very good. Look them up on Facebook! 😉
So I've ordered a new monoflap jump saddle (very excited!) and I need to purchase a short girth. What does everyone use? Will a dressage girth do? Any advice welcome 😊
My mare had a flat sarcoid in exactly the area as yours. I used the red cream as prescribed by the vet, applying it every other day for 10 days. After that time the thing pretty much exploded; it was the most revolting sight & in the end the egg like root came out, leaving a large hole . It took...
Mine will be 4 in June. I bred him and lightly broke him last summer. He was quite sharp, so we worked him for half an hour every day, mostly walking and some trot, with a little canter. He's by Jumbo, so he's going to be quite well built. He's been growing in the field, turned out from...
I ordered 268 worth of pellets on 18/11 on line and paid in full. Two weeks later and no delivery. I called and was told they had been busy, but that they would be delivered on 3/12. Came home, no delivery!!!! What should I do? 268 out of pocket and no bedding for the horses!!! Help...
My mare was immobilised by a serious bandage and then on 8 weeks box rest. Exercise was then very controlled for an extended period. She's got a small scar, but she's never had any problems from it. The ligament was virtually severed! Fingers crossed for you! X
My mare was kicked on her near hind annular ligament when she was 7 and just starting eventing. Her prognosis was poor, but she came back to eventing, winning 14 BE points & national championships! She also went on to get points at medium dressage, so there's always hope!
I've had three off of Priory Stud, over 20 years. I had some problems with the last one, over a few months & to their credit they kept trying to resolve the issues until it was sorted. Can't say fairer than that!
