    Broken Collarbone

Thank you. It sounds as if you have made great progress. You mention that you didn't feel much pain - was that the case pre-op or post-op? I'm in agony at the moment! I'm hoping that after I've had the op and everything has been put back in the right place, the pain might ease?

    Broken Collarbone

Thank you. Yes, I'm prepared for it to take a long time before I'm able to ride again, but after the experience I've had, I'm in no rush!

    Broken Collarbone

Thank you. Yes, I'm hoping it will help, as I'm in a lot of pain at the moment. I will go with a private physio. I'm sorry that you have had problems with yours.

    Broken Collarbone

Hello. I had a very nasty fall a month ago and broke my collarbone. It isn't healing well and I'm having it plated/screwed tomorrow. Just interested to hear of others experiences with this particular injury, and recovery process. Thanks.

    Dressage Rude Dressage Judge

I've been in a similar situation myself as a writer, on a number of occasions. I have been quite aghast at some of the things they say about riders and horses - some of whom I have known. It does tend to put you off!

Ibd / ulcers hay versus haylage

My mare had ulcers and been treated for them in the past. She is on haylage and is/has been perfectly fine. I'm no expert, but haylage tends to be lower in sugar, but higher in protein than hay. It all depends on the type of grass used, when it was cut etc. If you can, buy a haylage that has...

    4CYTE ?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it does seem rather costly. My horse is not being treated for anything, so I was looking into using it just to give her joints some extra support.

    4CYTE ?

Thank you. Just wondering why your vet would be one sided - do they sell it?

    4CYTE ?

Hello. For anyone who has used 4CYTE Epitalis Gel, what are your opinions? All the reviews I've read say it's marvellous, but I'm not sure they are unbiased. TIA.

    Dressage Rude Dressage Judge

This particular judge has judged me and my mare once before, about 3 years ago. She placed me last in both tests then, with very similar comments and observations as our most recent encounter. Since then, we've been judged numerous times by several judges and are often placed in the top 3 with...
