If you weren't considering moving livery A before you heard she made a silly comment - don't do it. 10 years is a dedicated livery! If your horse if is fine in a standard stable why bother with all the extra aggro and cause friction on the yard.
I got less than 24 hours notice to move out my...
I've never gotten anything for yard managers really but they've never been proactive on the yard.
It's just my instructor as she puts up with my crap and whining all year.
Good idea is what I did one year...... hung a stocking outside all the horses doors as I'm the first one there with a...
Hiya, I'm resurrecting this thread mostly because I forgot all about it when H&H is hard to access from me phone (can I not get email notifications!!)
I took him to the vet and all his kidneys and urine tests were fine. He drinks ALOT though. Changed his kibble which made no difference.
I'm...
Hello, as the title really.
What have you got your riding instructors/yard owners for xmas?
I wanted to get my instructor something good as she was getting up at ridiculous time in the morning so we could have a lesson before I went to work and I start at 7am..! Rather do something else...
BTW I've thought about raw but he actually doesn't eat raw meat unless it's off a bone. Turned his nose up at natural instinct ;) just incase someone suggest switching haha.
Hey folks,
I put my dog on Orijen about 3-4 weeks ago. He likes the kibble without any token bits of wet food added (infact... I use it as treats now on my dog walks and all the dogs love it!!). I've noticed an increase in his drinking habits though. He drink a HELL of a lot more than before...
I carry around the pet corrector if I'm walking certain dogs in certain places for the times there might be one flying over. Only had to use it once.
However if you were to use it I'd condition your own dog not to associate the spray sound with something good, else you'll make the problem...
I home board too - normally now just get recommendations so I think that would be your best bet - my local groomer recommends me too so perhaps start there (yes I only take in one dog at a time!!).
It's really hard, I'm looking for someone as my usual lady is fully booked, but knowing how...
Thanks folks I dont get notifications with replies so assumed no one had!!
I was only something I thought about as a number of people mentioned it....I am aware it's a marketing fad but there are some good ones out there (as was pointed out!) so toying with the idea. I'd love to feed raw but...
As title.
Changing my dogs food as he isn't a big fan of kibble and like to keep things varied. Then I was thinking...he must be about 8 or 10 now. He is out and about all day (dog walker) and doesn't collapse in the evening (still up for another walk if there's one going). But he does now...
My boy was doing this for a good week - plus mild snoring which he never does - it just passed. I kept panicking it was a tumor (like the case was with Lévrier :( ) but it just went fortunately :)
Fingers cross it passes!
I heard last year that the ingredients had changed and now no longer works as before?
I could be totally wrong (or maybe someone was trying to get rid of their stock!)
Super, I did notice that with the tempests so avoided them. I was looking at the Sweet-Itch Combo they have and none of the descriptions tell you what the front fastening is like, and all the pictures hide it! I must be going bananas!
