    Finding a sharer/loaner

Ahh thank you! that would be brilliant if you could share a post - I've got him advertised on a couple of the Bristol horsey groups - I'll PM you (and fiiinally reply, sorry for taking so long!). That would be great about the uni club, I was considering whether that might work for him.

    Finding a sharer/loaner

Thanks - have PM'd you :) Good shout Sasquatch, at the moment I'm on a very small yard (just the two of us!), but will be moving to a much bigger place in a few weeks, so hoping I'll have more success with a bigger circle of horsey people! He's a v. good jumper, so will keep that in mind about...

    Finding a sharer/loaner

Fab thanks, will try them :) Not remote at all - I'm based in Bristol city and it takes me about half an hour to get to him (and I think he's in quite a supposedly horsey area)

    Finding a sharer/loaner

Where are they all?! I'm on the cusp about selling my boy and think a part loaner or sharer would be ideal, however he's been advertised for a few weeks and have had no interest. He's brilliant to ride and is on a great yard, so thought I'd have at least some interest - but had nothing, not...

    Weird Cyclist

Nothing so weird as cyclists! We get some really good ones, and others that seem to share one brain cell with their bike. Had one guy yesterday who came whipping around a blind corner and made all the horses jump. He then had a go at us for being the other side of a blind corner, meaning he was...

    Photo Collage

If you go on a site like Photobox or Snapfish, there should be an option to create a collage. They have loads of templates/styles to choose from, it's just a case of finding the design you like and dragging and dropping the pics in. They def print as well, as I think they offer framed options too?

    'Best' native

I've had Sec Ds and now moved onto a New Forest and would never go back! Have known a couple and they've all been brilliant ponies, can do anything and have a good brain too (I don't miss the Welsh silliness, have to say). However, I don't think they come up too big? Mine is 14.2 and he only...

    To sell or not?

Ah thanks lovely :) obviously not the best time to sell but like you say, better to start the process now then when I'm really pulling my hair out. And yes def need to meet the newbie! X

    To sell or not?

Thanks all. Glad to hear I'm making sense, and I think deep down I know it's the right decision, even though it will be really odd not having a horse in my life. He was never going to be a forever horse (unless I got a huge payrise!) as although he is very sweet and a complete confidence giver...

    To sell or not?

I think I’ve come to the decision that I need to sell my pony, but would like some impartial thoughts on all of this (especially from those who’ve sold and taken a break, and come back to horses later). I’m moving jobs to something far more stress, it’s unflexible (my...

What would you do? Cat dilemma

Aw he sounds like my ex-stray, Loki. Lots of long black fur! Definitely lots of pics and keep us updated with how he is.

What would you do? Cat dilemma

Well they do say that animals choose their people..! I'm a complete sucker for strays/karma/fate/cats and would definitely keep him. Our cat was a stray as a kitten and is the most loving, affectionate cat I've ever met. Hope he gets better soon, and lots of pics if you decide to keep him :)

    Taking back shoes off

Woah MrsG, that must've seemed like a very good decision in hindsight!! Glad it's worked out for your boy, and good luck for taking the fronts off (that will hopefully be my next step, once we see how back feet are looking). Now to convince my YO's farrier to take them off..!

    Mischievous clever ponies

Another with a pony who knows when the electric is on or not! If it's off, he'll be straight through (and even if it's on, he'll chance it from time to time...) I find the best thing is just to make sure they're tired/worked. Read/commented on your husband thread - is there any way you can do...

    Taking back shoes off

Brill thanks both - exactly what I thought and was hoping to hear! Yeah YO is very funny in her thinking, and still questions why I don't feed molassey, high sugar/starch mixed feeds, and says that my poor pony probably wants tastier feed...
