    Burghley 2018

It looks like everyone has forgotten Oli's arrogant behaviour at Badminton then (I haven't). Can't find the dressage running order, can anyone help please? We are going tomorrow for a change. Last year Jonty was there...thinking of you and wearing green.

    Cytopoint jab v apoquel pills?

Thank you for the helpful reply, what is the interval between jabs, what size dog? You sound as if you are dealing with a lot of allergies, while all meat and rice are challenging we manage with Fish4Dogs kibble and cooked fish. There are cheese, and fish treats available too, but so many also...

    Cytopoint jab v apoquel pills?

Unfortunately controlling the condition with diet is quite challenging as she is allergic to most meats/chicken and rice, so is on a largely fishy diet some of which I cook fresh. I don't envy you coping with the environmental allergies too.Thank you for your helpful information.

    Cytopoint jab v apoquel pills?

No, I'm due ti discuss the option of changing when she has her 6 month med check. A friend with the same size dog pays £47 and the jab lasts 8 weeks, so comparable I think. Her dog is tolerating the jabs without the side effects of apoquel..my dog doesn't have any side effects, which is why I'm...

    Seizure

It's very, very distressing isn't it...you feel so helpless, how is she now? FYI our JR has had one seizure a year for the last four years (she's 9). No apparent trigger and she's been thoroughly vet checked. They are very brief, she topples over and 'paddles' her legs..but is fine afterwards.

    Cytopoint jab v apoquel pills?

My P russell (10kg) has been on apoquel pills for a few years, successfully controlling her food related itchiness. What are the advantages to changing to jabs (cytopoint?).... convenience/cost perhaps. All info welcome - many thanks!

Walkers, I think I’m about to cave! Please tell me my options!?

All weather hard standing turnout has limited benefits as the horses have nothing to do and can get into mischief - mine incited the others to rug rip. Alternatively they all stood around looking bored but at least they had one another - the YO wouldn't all hay on the hardstanding unfortunately...

    All the saddles - gone!

Lucky old you having so many saddles.....and having time to shift them beween house and car...in an ideal world perhaps we'd all do that. Unfortunately some of us are cramming in our riding before/after work, after dropping chidren off at school etc. and need the boot for carrying shopping, dogs...

    All the saddles - gone!

Our yard was cleared out a few months ago...all saddles, bridles, a vehicle and trailer. The owner lives in a house on site but didn't hear anything. A number of yards have been done in the surrounding areas...it seems as if one a month. I find it very hard to believe the police don't know who...

Feeding advice for a Connie..please help!

It depends on how much work he's doing too. When my Connie was in very light work he only had a handful of HiFi Lite with his mins/vits in, no other short feed, plus a very small holed net of about the same size as you are feeding. How much grass is he getting during the day, is he on straw...

    Thoughts please. More surgery?

What a frustrating situation for you and your horse. Why not get a second opininion from a specialist vet/hospital while he's still insured? Good luck, you must be tearing your hair out.
