The only thing 'good' for ulcer prone horses is a high fibre diet with plenty of turnout and ad lib forage/grazing

All balancers are low calorie so doesn't really make much difference to a good doer which one it is, I just use stud balancers as they are significantly cheaper. They're just high protein vit/min pellets at the end of the day

Get a high D outer and should be fine, 1680 ballistic would be a minimum if you want something super waterproof Most cheap rugs are 600D and they are probably showerproof at best. Also, if you only need a LW rain sheet, try opting for a 40/50g rug as the small amount of fillinf lifts it off...
