ok so i got a new horse on trial for a month last thursday, the background to this horse is that it has lived alone with no other interaction with any other horses for 11 years at its previous home, it is a 19 year old tb, when i went to view was very quiet and settled.....and i soooo want him...
what does "bhs gold members insurance" cover you for???? and how much is it???? my mare is 25ish i think not really too sure of her age, so this is what the vet told me(when i bought her i was told she was 15:(....)and that was only this june....:mad::mad:
as ive been reading all ur posts i cant help but think....that sounds like my boy....now when i say boy i mean my son...he has autism and adhd....but the similarities in temperment are unreal....loves to do things he likes, but is agressive when asked to do something hes not interested in...hits...

no unfortunately i didnt take her on the road b4 buying...i wouldnt be able to get the car into the fields with her but there is a very big carpark at the stables which is often empy do u think if i took her into the carpark on a lungeline and got my oh to drive into the carpark would do the...
thanks for the sound advice....sounds like a plan ill take her on the long drive down to the road and get my oh to drive past its nice and wide....if that goes well ill go out on road with someone from the yard on horseback and get my oh to follow on foot...better to be safe than sorry.....
