Hi. I know this sounds a bit naive, but I have decided to have my elderly mare put to sleep and I've never been through this before. Will the vet organise for her to be taken away etc? Do they bring an assistant - I just don't know. Am dreading it but know it is for the best. Thanks
Thanks again everyone. I am lucky as I can miss out this field and probably just let it grow until next winter as both ponies really don't need lush grass (try telling the farmer that - a constant battle). He also insists on topping the grass to let it grow better. That is OK in the Summer, but...
