Yes I think so to, the weatherbeeta works as it fits lower on the shoulder, it was the v front closure, the straight ones definitely didn’t work, think that’s why the amigo was worse!

Thanks, he has a short thick neck, it does have three clip attachment, I will just have to give it a try and see how it goes, sadly the rhino/rambo was too tight over the withers with his head down so had to swap to something with a bigger neck, which may well be why the water ingress.

Thank you, sadly needing the three clip attachment and a medium size, apparently is quite rare now on a weatherbeeta, found lots of smalls cheap but cob seems to be popular! it was reduced from £60 though!

Thanks all, I’m leaning towards the weatherbeeta due to the memory foam wither pad and fitting a little better here, since he spends most of his time with his head down rather than moving about a lot, the Wb does have a three year guarantee so at least they should replace it if it leaks!

I have that problem with my other Welsh with drop length!

This is my problem they all seem a bit tight over the withers (wug or not) when he grazes unless the neck hangs too low on the shoulder, he does spend a lot of time head down so I’m really not sure what to do, it will only be used a few days max at a time, he’s never had a wug or neck cover...

My other option is to try a swish rug, he’s got a waterproof fly rug from them, but it’s still a bit tight on the withers, anyone got any views on those? with his deep neck and narrow shoulders I seem to get to tight on withers or too low on shoulders 🤔

This was one of my concerns he does spend most of his time eating, even in bad weather!

Thanks, can I ask why you’re not a fan of the wugs? Just the wither pressure? They claim it’s supposed to be less with the wug
