an instructor once said to me the only way to improve the canter is to canter, do more and more canter work. obviously that doesn’t just mean tearing about the place.
do a zillion transitions (walk trot) and work on adjustability as you say. canter poles too and also raised poles.

seen some people have little one in carriers when they bring horses in but i do think thats dangerous
far better to park your car in sight of the field and leave them safely strapped in the carseat for the few minutes it takes to bring in
i really dont think kids are supervised and taught how to behave as they used to be
that said, when I was 8 years old I used to go and walk to a local R/S to hang about. I remember watching a livery owner tacking up her horse and standing there metaphorically drooling. I also remember her...
Im in need of a couple of new warm tops now the cold weather is here. I dont like bulky, prefer the technical fabric style that you can layer if necessary. Problem is finding things that are hard wearing nowadays! I have an ariat one that hasnt last 5 minutes before going all bobbly.
No lol, that is a bit extreme. to clarify; I do not think I will suffer less disease by washing my jodhs after I ride in them once. However, I do think washing the clothes I wear to exercise, (be it riding, running or going to the gym) after each session rather than put them on again the next...
lol well yes, i see it as a personal hygiene issue :D... but not mine as I wash my jodhs after I wear them :D I also shower every day and its not an aroma thing - I just think its hygienic to wash tight fitting clothing that you do physical exercise in ;)
yes haha - its not legs that are the issue with sweating ;)... and even without sweating, lets face it , jodhs are *ahem* tight fitting?? surely you would want to wash a tight fitting item of clothing regularly?
crikey! Id only wear mine a 2nd day if Id not actually ridden or mucked out - and then it would be if I was actually going to ride/muck out and come in and then stick them in the wash basket. Dont any of you sweat when you ride, maybe Im very unfit :o
far cheaper using big round bales and just as easy, if not easier to fill nets. The only difficulty is man handling them, especially if you wish to put a bale out in the field over winter and don’t have machinery.
