    Wearing rings while riding?!

I only wear my rings out and to work. I caught one in a small branch when I was much younger and while there was no damage other than some bruising, it scared the crap out of me. The only jewelry I wear when riding is a chain around my neck that I know will break if it gets caught. I just had...

    Horse related injuries

Broken foot, broken finger, cracked ribs, cracked shin bone, and a couple mild concussions. Nothing really bad, but all hurt quite a bit at the time.

    Interdressage website-video examples

I could not get those to work, but I did get the ones that were submitted for the classes to work. On the homepage click on the picture of the horse for class one (or whatever) and it pulls up the class and the videos for each ride.

    after a foot abscess?

My TB had a nasty abscess last year that the farrier had to open up. Once there was no more pus/blood on the dressings, I left it off for a few days but avoided turnout for a couple more just to be safe.

Wintering out - your opinions and experiences please

Both of mine winter out, one naked and one with a light weight waterproof rug. Both seem very happy with the situation, I just make sure they get loads of hay if it gets really cold.
