It's an absolute pain isn't it! I've hibiscrubbed his feet, soaked them in hot salty water, used peroxide and purple spray! not all at the same time! but i thought if i can do anything 2 try and kill the bacteria!!! just scared now if the farrier doesnt find anything once he takes the shoe off...

No it was clear, but he was lamer 2day than yesterday. I'm worried that its not just an abscess now :S

Hey I've got a 16.3hh Tb hes just turned 10 but I got him last summer straight off the track pretty much, don't know if thats bit too old?

Hes a 16.3 TB Gelding does a bit of everything, would make a mint hunter. I just seem to get lots of hits but hardly anyone calling, its depressing me!

yeah they mentioned stem cell but said it would be no use as it's non traumatic and totally apart and said ther wouldnt be much point in trying, i had thought to try that at first, im going 2 try cartrophen injections. Its just quite bad cuz his fetlocks dropping but thers only the superficial...

That's so relieving to hear. Such a shame your's has done it again tho. I've been so scared that theres no chance cuz its fully ruptured! absolutely nothing holding together! Did u try anything other than box rest?? Cuz stem cell therapy and shcokwave treatment etc is supsedly gud 4 it?

Hi, My horse has ruptured his SDFT LF fully, the ends are 2cm apart. Hes on box rest for 3 months. Does anyone have any experience with fully ruptured tendons??
