I think I'll take my chances with my DAEP, there may not be an official organisation like the FRC has for farriers but the justice system for welfare issues seem to be more realistic for trimmers. If a trimmer messes up its plastered everywhere & it involves the UK actual LAW not an in house...
Bit of a mad 1 but I've done it & it really did work.
Vana cob riddled with mites, his legs were clipped (not by us) we tried the injections, we tried the £50 bottle of frontline but it didn't work sooooo we put on neat iodine & then washed it off with vodka...value vodka..! It really did work.!
Yes that's very true but farriers don't have training in shoeless trimming, some have taken interest & persued the shoeless trim.
Farriers are trained to trim a hoof for immediate reception of a shoe only.

I'm not sure what a Kleg shoe is but a Keg shoe is a regular shoe rather than a remedial shoe. Toe clips on the front, quarter clips in the hinds type of thing.
