Hi I have a cob really good dooer on long term box rest and would like to know what's the best mineral/vitamin lick to get him (no sugar) to replace those lost by not grazing. Thanks

The swelling goes down whilst I'm hosing and isn't too prominent during the day when I hose it more but morning is worse where I haven't done it for 8-10 hours

Thanks I'm speaking to vet today to arrange scans etc and il start using ice packs on it. You can see it reduce in size whilst hosing but by this morning it'd swelled up again

Update! Unfortunately monty was pts on sat ry day morning. He never recovered from biopsies taken from intestines at equine hospital. His teeth were fully checked by a dentist. Have had another vet put who has given him phosphates, b12 and gastroguard as he had ulcer many years ago

He has eaten a mushy speedibeet feed tonight and 2lbs of ready grass. Not pooing now tho. Have a vet coming tomorrow who thinks it's ulcers
