Does you horse long rein? If so long rein a very gently ask them to go around you in a small turn every now and then, using two lines sometimes can give them security, and build up the distance from you and number of circles
I am more concerned about getting extra fuel whilst away from home, run a 7t which is relatively economical but our champs (TREC) are a good 8 hour run away this year so unless the situation changes I won’t be attending.
Sadly I don’t think any dealers would be interested in that age of box, you may find one that would sell on commission but again it might not be worth their time.
