Oh that sounds horrible! But she only was iffy on one leg, and there wern't any bumps, she did seem a little better after hosing down though. We have a BSJA show tomorrow but I'm not too concerned about not going! XD

I was cantering through some grass today out on a hack (Not particularly long grass) but there were quite a few nettles in there (Never noticed a problem before). I was just pulling up on the shorter grass a few seconds later when she stopped dead and started stomping, rearing, going backwards...

It's a bit random but we use "Skin so soft" by Avon. It's not an equine product but apparently all the trawlermen use it up in Scotland. My mum's mare suffers awfully from sweet itch and it is the only thing that works for her. It's £4 for a little bottle but they last aaages, also it smells...

Ok so I currently have a blue tweed jacket from shires which I love but it is now nearly 3" short on the sleaves :S. I wear yellow jods, a yellow stock and a gold hat to event in (I really like yellow :P) so I want to buy the caramel southwold jacket by Caldene (34"). I have looked everywhere...

also if the rider hs competed in advanced or above then you have to enter the open section (or so I think so anyway!)

my friends horse shakes his head for about 2 weeks every year, she puts a nose net on it and it decreases but it doesn't completly go away. the horse then doesnt shake at all ntil he following year. maybe just keep going for a while and wait to see what the verdict is
