My horse has a very similar lump which appeared after a recent tendon injury. I’ve had it scanned and the vets believe it’s just fat tissue as it’s not attached to the tendon or any other vessel in his leg. I would get the vet to scan then you’ll know for sure.
I’ve just seen some hi-viz advertised with the wording on the back “Slow down my cob is a knob”.
I’m personally not convinced that this is the messaging that horse riders should be conveying to other road uses.
Surely if something happened like the horse kicked out or worse sat on a car...
I moved to Warwickshire (Warwick/Solihull) from the south east. Hacking is lanes and mainly bridlepaths that largely lead to main roads - not the best. I was gutted having left some amazing hacking on the South Downs!
I paid a little less than that for my daughter’s pony. He was 19 when he bought him and I wouldn’t change him for the world. My daughter had completely lost her confidence and he restored every last bit and some. He owes me nothing.
I would go and have a look.
I wouldn’t touch a saangyoung with a barge pole unless you’re planning on keeping it until it owes you nothing! These cars depreciate at the speed of light, parts are expensive and the garage can never quite find what’s wrong with them.
I bought my 6.5 ton from http://www.centralenglandhorseboxes.co.uk/category/latest-horseboxes/ there was a few little niggles when I first got it but they took it back and sorted them all out -I would prob buy another lorry from there if I was looking again.
If the horse does the job you want it to then absolutely. I bought a 19 year old pc school master for my daughter last year who’d completely lost her nerve due to a nasty fall. His an absolute saint, a complete nanny gets cheekier by the day and already 100s of memories as she gets braver. I...
I grew up in Surrey and moved to Warwickshire in my late 20s. I still miss the hacking in Surrey! Warwickshire is okay but it isn’t great in fact, I probably won’t get another horse unless I relocated to better hacking! I did spent a brief time in Bucks and that was awful!
My horse digs holes doesn’t matter which field his in... he usually digs a couple of holes then when it rains and they become puddles he stands and plays in them ??
I’m not an expert but I think it sounds like it could be your alternator belt was loose and not charging the battery or it is your alternator... I would prob get that checked too.
