I'm only thinking about this 24 hour turnout for the spring/summer - i'd worry all night during the winter! I'm being really ignorant here - is sheep grazing the same as strip grazing?
24 hour turn out has never been an option before at the yard I was at.
However, I have been given the opportunituy of renting stables and 3 acres of grazing which I am taking and this gives me cart blanche to do what I like.
Can anyone offer advise on 24 hour turn out? Wasn't something I ever...

yes, i have been recommended 'sand out' which is to be fed for 1 week every month when he's back grazing.
i obviously need to speak to his surgeon about his aftercare but it seems a bit premature at the mo and almost tempting fate. went to see my boy again this...

time fairly limited - work till 12 each day so afternoons free and/or evenings when kids in bed...
