    Puppies have arrived

I've used Imgur to upload pictures. Right click and 'view image' once it's uploaded. Right click again and 'copy image location', it should end .jpg or something image related. Use the image tags in an advanced post to stick the link in (this is using Firefox rather than IE or Chrome).

    Introducing Joel

That was a breed we considered have to be part, having looked at a number of pictures of other breeds we thought he more likely to be crossed with something else. We are are going to be neutering him. Birmingham Dogs Home give you a voucher for a discounted op at their 'partner' vets, not much...

    Introducing Joel

He has improved, sleeping at night now. He still goes up on the counter looking for food, we suspect he was left for long periods of his own with no food but will never know. He's been left for short period without causing any damage, longer periods haven't happened since the weekend so...

    Introducing Joel

Worked out how to do images, we're not sure what he is crossed with. Any suggestions? We're thinking Staff/Mastiff/Boxer. He's got long legs with a big chest.

    Introducing Joel

We put a baby gate across the top of the landing gap, he slept silently at the top of the stairs on a blanket with no mess anywhere. Lots of fuss this am, couldn't have asked for anything else from him! Chew toys he isn't interested in yet He likes pigs skin, local pet shop is a big raw...

    Introducing Joel

Morning all on my phone so no pics yer. Interesting weekend, he's very food driven. Separation issues which are to be expected but he's distructive! Quite a bit of damage including the contents of the sink.. Note to us to wash and dry up so no temptation. I have to say there are doubts...

    Introducing Joel

Last night was interesting, didn't expect it to be a quiet on in any way. Left downstairs on his bed, didn't settle on his own. Came down at 00:30 to calm him to find a poo (poorly tummy) and a destroyed packet of prawn crackers! They had been in a box on the work surface so might have a...

    Introducing Joel

Thanks all, quite bouncy but needs time to settle. He was picked up by the dogs home not far from us. Wonder if he'll know the area?

    Introducing Joel

Can't get the image to display but here's the link: https://imgur.com/a/zDoC5 Staff cross from Birmingham Dogs Home. Not at all what I expected we'd ever get but the wife and kids loved him, he was great with them when we had him in a run obeying a number of commands. Can't say I'm not nervous...

how quickly should my childs riding lessons progress

My girls are 5 1/2 and have been riding for about 6 months now. They've just moved to the intermediate lesson. I've found that different instructors have got different things out of them, however, Saturday one my girls decided she was going to spend the first part of the lesson holding onto the...

    Tips for getting a puppy

Excellent! Most of those are things we're expecting when we get a dog, potentially early next year. Having looked after my wifes old one I can remember the presents.. all shapes/sizes/textures/moistures..
