Once she’s recovered and not on crate rest, I think we will crate her when she’s home alone as we can’t stop her jumping up onto the sofas if we aren’t here.

I’m so pleased we did it. She’s still a bit wobbly and weak but 100x happier.
Crate rest for at least 4 weeks. Back at week 2 for physio and week 4 for a checkup and we’ll go from there.
She definitely does! They said they were amazed with how stoic she was before the surgery as the amount of stuff that came out of the disc was impressive.
I’ve always thought she was a bit of a princess, but I’ve been proved wrong!

It’s a 2hr round trip which isn’t really doable with the kids.
I think me going and leaving here there would make her upset too.
They’ve sent an email with photo updates and she looks comfortable so I’m happy to leave her there without a visit.
Surgery all done! It was tricky and took a while but she’s awake. They expect her to be worse tomorrow from all the messing around but they are expecting good results in time 🤞🤞
