    Second pony for my daughter-questions!

My 7 year old daughter currently has a little 11 hh Welsh section A who she does pony club on, has lesson and hacks out with me. She is very keen and a nice quiet rider, but her riding instructor feels that she has reached her limit on her pony. He is much more of a lead rein/first pony as he...

Sweet itch- can vets test for it?

Hello, I have bought my new horse with his old owner telling me he gets mild sweet itch and it is controlled with him wearing a snuggy hood rug permanently. I have had him now approximately 4 weeks and he is living out with his sweet itch rug on. He doesn't seem to have itched himself in the...

    Reactor panel saddles

I am buying a new horse that is coming with 2 reactor panel saddles, one dressage and one jumping. They were fitted to him when his current owner bought him, but, for various reasons, he has recently lost a bit of his top line so I am not sure if they still fit well (although I don't pretend to...

can anyone recommend a good sales livery?

I have a 14.3 cob mare 9 years old that I have decided to sell. For various reasons I have decided that I can't sell her myself so am looking into sales livery. I am wondering if anyone has any experience of doing this and the costs involved. Thank you. I am based in Surrey/West Sussex.

    Selling a project horse

Yes I will I think. I am very new and inexperienced at all this. I am in a situation all of my own doing but I am completely admitting that I have messed up. I keep my horses on my own and therefore have no one to talk to. I am very lonely and alone. I have come on here for some advice as I know...

    Selling a project horse

this is her advert: Sweet natured 14.3 Irish cob mare, 9 years Sad sale of this lovely mare, who has a fantastic temperament and would make a great show cob/PC horse. Super to hack alone and in company, excellent on the roads and in all traffic, including tractors and buses, she is good in open...

    Selling a project horse

I pay £15 a week currently on head livery and have just lost my job so am struggling for money a little bit at the moment. I would happily send her to sakes livery but don't want the bill to come to more than what she is worth of that makes sense. I also don't know how I would know which sales...

    Selling a project horse

I was really honest on my advert and got no response. I then I posted on here and got lots of comments saying that I should re write my advert which I did and this is the only person I have had come and look at her so far. I can't afford to pay someone to ride her so I'll have to advertise her...

    Selling a project horse

Yes you are all right. I am such a stupid idiot. What was I thinking! Her instructor did come with her and rode her first but I should have asked more questions before she got on. I have learnt my lesson and luckily she wasn't hurt when she fell but it could have been much worse.

She is a very forward going horse and I am selling her as I gave completely lost my confidence but saying that she hasn't done anything really wrong with me and I haven't fallen off her...
