Has anyone else had problems with Bates Saddles? I purchased a new GP one 2 months ago (not cheap, but it's the only one I could find to fit my horse). I looked after it like they tell you to - put the bates balsam on liberally, left it over night and it is cleaned weekly using glycerine soap...
