We have them bordering our land and I remember being told how they were traditionally used for making matches in the old days. I think they are in serious decline, so I'd say plant some up, they will be great for biodiversity.
We have not had any problems with poisoning.
My understanding of the frosty grass risk is that when nighttime temperatures drop to below 4ºc the fructans are converted to a type of glycol or antifreeze to preserve the grass and therefore these sugars are not used for respiration or growth.
It can actually increase the sugar levels by as...

But its all about cooperation with me and my mates, so we work it out between us.
If I was in a new place I would put some feelers out to see what...
You should see an improvement fairly quickly, within 2 to 3 days, but that all depends on what the source of the infection is..... Once the pressure is relieved and any pus is draining your pony will feel less pain.

My favourites are Arabs because they are so graceful, but also love ID's and Welsh Section D's because of their dependability. I've had good experience with all of them. :)
My two get a daily brush, including mane and tail which only takes a couple of minutes, and then fly spray applied .... unless its tipping down!
They live out so I only pick out feet if I am riding, and only apply oil on "special occasions" :)
