    Irish Setters

Thanks for all the replies :) Cinnamontoast: yes I've gone through the UK & Ireland Irish setters website for registered breeders and contacted 3 that are expecting litters. I've also done my research with the breed and see the introduction of a new test so I've had that as an extra to ask...

    Irish Setters

Hi all, I've never been brave enough to venture into AAD so please be nice! I'm so very excited that we've started looking for an Irish Setter to join our family :D :D My partner and I will be moving into our new home next month, in the mean time we've been at my parents so our little...

Millie-Super-Mare's smashing return to the competition arena!

Haha bless you. Her canter is far better than Shadows, and thats what will hold him back. His changes are pretty good and trainer has suggested minimal time spent doing Mediums and push on to AM. Its the lack of transport that has held us up! Still trainer os out on sunday to kick me into action...

Millie-Super-Mare's smashing return to the competition arena!

Millie is looking great and what a fantastic result under Lady I...well done!! I don't come on here much any more so nice to see updates from the old names, especially Millie as she gives me hope that Shadow can still do more :)

Anyone dressage a Sec D ? To what level ?

Mine has competed up to Medium and been relatively successful, I'm hoping to get him back out soon to have a bash at an Advanced Medium or two. Both trainer & I feel he's likely to find it easier than Medium as his changes are better than his counter canter! He's not a long backed D though, he...

moving from Full livery to DIY...

I've always put deposits on stables as moving never fits in easily with the rest of life :) Most have happily accepted a reduced amount to secure the stable and then taken that off of the first months bill. I can't comment on the time vs money as I've only ever been DIY but there are many...

Can any horse get to medium?

Of course it's possible!! I have a welsh cob, he's my first horse and my first attempt at doing dressage. We stepped out last year and tried our first Mediums. He has a poor walk and a difficult canter but if I really put my mind to really riding, then we're capable of 65% plus at Medium :) The...

Getting to Badminton by some roads may be extra tricky this year

Getting to Badminton by some roads may be extra tricky this year

Well bloody good luck to anyone trying to get to either event! On my way back from the yard, Japfest traffic was already backed up to Allington Farm shop on the A420, so probably a good 5/6 miles!

Bridleways in Buckinghamshire near Burnham Beeches

I'm in a totally different area of the world but having just moved to a newish area myself I've found www.bridlewaymap.com is an ace site :D for researching hacking...the downside is if there is nothing you'll be very sad after looking! Also it doesn't show Byways but its a good place to start :D

Livery close to Chippenham - SN15

Thank you Fankino04, I can vouch for AP Equestrian having been there before...its a lovely yard but its no where near Chippenham, despite what the address says :)

Livery close to Chippenham - SN15

Hi guys, I moved to Wiltshire last month and found a sweet enough little yard, but being brutally honest its not the right yard, so the search has begun again :( I'm after somewhere with a decent school, flood lights are a must (indoor is a bonus!) I can work with a 20X40 but bigger would...
