I use a Dolav type plastic pallet box. It stops it getting blown around & wasted, and you can fit lots in with no faff. Never had an issue with rain, the horses don’t care. The base of them has holes in so any water just runs through.
As all above have said, when you’re starting to ask the question it is probably time. Being unable to trot and struggle with the farrier would be enough for me. It’s certainly not easy- but your vet will support you.
I was given the Lite Equidry for Christmas and I have worn it every day since. It is brilliant for keeping completely dry and for protecting non-horsey clothes when just ‘nipping’ out to do something horsey. Even in the slightly warmer weather we’ve had it hasn’t got sweaty. And obviously...
Get a little dehumidifier, a very small boat heater and some plug in night lights if there’s no natural light in there. Before putting any tack in there though spray mould spray on walls etc. Also clean all mould off tack with vinegar solution and allow to thoroughly dry. Thoroughly wash all...

Looking at the tester’s manual it would be a minor deficiency, i.e. not a fail. Do you run your lorry under an Operator’s licence? If so, don’t risk it, get it repaired. If not it would be worth the risk.

Renapur. Just clean tack with water then apply the Renapur, awesome stuff. Ref wet tack I would dry it out properly in a warm room then clean as normal. Maybe oil it lightly if required. To me the most important thing would be to properly dry it out so it doesn’t go mouldy when back in usual...
I’ve just brought this one, love it and it’s waterproof with double zip thing. I’m a size 10-12 and got a 12 and it’s fine.
