Cremello on it's own does not have any more problems with melanomas than any other colour except grey...However the two together does increase the risk of aggressive melanomas :( It sounds more likely that your friends mare is both cremello and grey :( Unfortunately this is where lack of...

She wouldn't have a perlino or cremello foal because they are double dilute..meaning they have received one cream gene from dad and one cream gene from mum. Your mare doesn't have a cream gene and Legrande only has one cream gene..single dilute.. (so he may pass it or may not) ...if he does pass...

Hi :) You could hang a heat bulb or two in her stable....either put the bulb in the normal bulb socket or get an extension lead and hang it high enough. You can get them online or from a pet shop ..they use them for lizards and snakes.
