I have the laminitis risk app on my phone. Depending on what it says I move the fence. It’s been quite interesting seeing when it moves up towards the red.
I was at a small yard and my paddock was next to a bungalow. The lady who lived there used to keep her retired eventer in my pauntil he passed away.
One day the owner of the yard asked if I would mind this lady taking my 20 year old semi retired cob out on a hack “or did I want to keep her all...
if you can hack with a calm friend just go out for 10 mins. Walk side by side where possible then return to the yard. Don’t put pressure on yourself to rush things.
My old cob started to this this. I think she just decided when it was time to head back home. She did it in company too so was very annoying. I took her to an instructor who put a small bridge/plank in the school for us to walk over. Of course she would not go over it or move. Told to keep...

She's not massively...

Was out 24/7 but won't stay in bare patch so have had to put muzzle on and bring in at night.
vet said if in and no grass 8kg of hay, slightly...
Had a similar problem with mine. Got as far as she wanted on the hack then just stopped (even did it when out with another horse !). No fear, spinning or anything just standing still waiting for me to turn back and go home.
Went for a lesson was told to do something I could keep up for as long...
