Mummm I've just remembered why I liked going abroad so much....Compeigne going is lovely and sandy... a bit like Tweseldown but not as soft. The cross country runs through the local park so you will gallop down a straight pathway and then do a 90 degree handbreak turn to a fence so if you don't...

Sure can...Jardy it's just off the Peripherique in central Paris in the grounds of a large French riding school - The dressage and showjumping are on a surface as most of the french events are and have various all weather warmups. The 2 star cross country isn't hugely long and it's fairly flat...

I think they took about 15 ish riders last year and the year before so well worth applying although they say 5 per federation they will fill the places. It might be 300 euros but they really look after you. They put on a stunning lunch every day for owners, riders and grooms ....fabulous event...

Just got back from seeing her and following her 6th operation this week and advice from the Doctors she will not be riding at Express Eventing and is not allowed to ride for another 4 weeks.

I think you will find that Lucinda is still riding. She is just out of hospital but has every intention of riding and will be out to win it I'm sure - don't write her off yet!

Libby Soley still in the lead after cross country with Kachemire le Beau then Gabby Cooke & Willa Newton. I believe Brett Kenyon had a couple of stops in 1 star on Solo Voyage who was in the lead. And they took a fence out after several people had nasty falls at it.
