My mare was dianosed 14th August, since then I have had non stop heartbreak switching from IM antibiotics, oral antibiotics, steroid cream, steroids, now 30 x 25mg steroids per day which is costing around £200 per week with antibiots too :( Crap condition, my mare has had to be box rested too...

-How old was your horse when he/she developed laminitis? 6 -What was the suspected cause? steroid IV -What treatment did you give him/her? box rest anti-inflammatories -How effective do you feel the treatment was? full recovery 12 weeks -Has he/she now made a full recovery? yes

Hi there, Just wondering what peoples experiences are of vasculitis. My mare was diagnosed with Leukocytoclastic Pastern Vasculitis in August. So far we have tried IV steroids which resulted in laminitis. Topical steroids which did nothing. Oral & IM antibiotics which did nothing...
